The Residential Guide publishes plain-language guides on residential property management, renting in California and affordable housing programs. Our aim is to help residents, owners and anyone new to multifamily housing understand how things work and where to find the official rules.
Independence and domain history
The domain antonresidential.com was previously used by Anton Residential, the property management division of Anton Development Company, a California multifamily developer. The domain later lapsed and is now operated independently.
This website is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Anton Residential, Anton Development Company, or any community they own or manage. We cannot answer questions about specific apartments, leases, rent payments, maintenance or employment with that company. Please contact them through antondev.com.
Because the domain was out of use for a period, you may find old links to pages that no longer exist here. Those pages are intentionally not reproduced.
Editorial approach
- We summarize public rules and link to the primary source, usually the California Civil Code or the responsible agency.
- Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. Housing law changes often; always confirm current requirements.
- We do not publish reviews, ratings or testimonials, and we do not accept payment for placement.

This is a static website. It uses no cookies, no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no forms. Standard web server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) are kept for security and troubleshooting. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
